History
The company was founded in 2007 as Kunststoff Concept Roding, short: Kucor by Dipl. Ing (FH) Alois Grill. We started successfully with five injection molding machines by producing as a contract manufacturer in rented production facilities. With a continuous growth, the facility became too small, so we began planning the construction of a new building in 2013. In the search for a suitable location we found the industrial area Walderbach-Stockhof directly next to the B16 between Regensburg and Cham. The construction started in the third quarter of 2014.
In December 2015, we moved to Walderbach. As a result of the move forward, we had to find a new name for the company, the name Kucor now stands for:

The integration of a modern industrial building into the landscape, the optimization of logistical procedures and the forward-looking technology was very important to us. The new building has been realized as following:
The supporting structure of the production halls as well as the office building are constructed in wood.
The facility architecture is structured for an optimum of material flow.
Technology/ Environment
The adiabatic air-conditioning in our halls ensures a pleasant working environment for our employees, furthermore it ensures a cleaner production site, as dust is blown out. Combined with a heat recovery, this type of ventilation is a special feature of our injection molding facility. The heating of the offices uses exclusively the waste heat from the injection molding machines and the air-compressor. The energetically optimized machine and tool cooling is designed as a 2-circuit system
Our photovoltaic system allows the production of electricity with up to 70% for our own consumption.
Quality management
Various test and measuring devices are available from the measuring slide to the measuring microscope for to check the quality of the injection-molded parts in serial production. The measured values are continuously documented in process control cards according to the customer's requirements.
In August 2017 we sucessfully completed the certification according to DIN-ISO 9001:2015 in our core competences: development, production and sales of injection molded plastic parts and molding technology.
